Agent #1
Tom Murphy, CIC, CLU and President, partnered with his father in the agency in 1967 after obtaining his BS degree in General Business Administration. He married Susie, his high school sweetheart, in 1964. Their marriage produced two sons and two grandsons. He enjoys following the Colts, IU sports, reading novels and playing Bridge!

Julie Tomlinson Oberley began her career at MURPHY INSURANCE FOR MEDICARE in 2009. She is capable of providing exceptional health insurance solutions within the marketplace. Our goal as your agent is to empower individuals with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their Medicare options and the process.

Krista Doyle, CSA, CSR began her career in 2018 with Murphy Insurance Inc. as a receptionist, which quickly turned into the desire to become an agent. She has her Property, Casualty, Health and Life License, so she is able to assist all clients we serve as well as writing new business in each segment. Krista has a BA in Education from IU but found insurance to be the passion she enjoys most of the two careers. While she is not teaching in a classroom, she does teach the importance of insurance and coverage points most people overlook.
Currently, Krista is on a sabbatical engaging in Property Casualty Insurance but will return to this market once Tom Murphy retires. She can be found at Amstutz Insurance Agency between 2 locations either on Flagstaff Cove or West Jefferson.
